Your purchase of any Canon product* within Australia or New Zealand is automatically covered by Canon's 12-month warranty^. To make a warranty claim you will need to provide proof of purchase. You can register your Canon product online via MyCanon, or you can post in a completed warranty card (supplied with your product).

Your purchase of any Canon product within Australia or New Zealand is automatically covered by Canon's 12-month warranty^. Canon's Extended Warranty increases the warranty period to 36 months (3 years). A Canon Extended Warranty protects you for longer, should there be a problem with your Canon product. If there is a problem, all you have to do is take the product to your nearest Canon authorised service provider, or phone 13 13 83 if you have a product with on-site warranty, and it will be repaired at no cost to you.
You can purchase a Canon Extended Warranty in-store through most Canon Authorised Resellers, at the time you purchase your product or any time within 12 months of your Canon product purchase.
