Bespoke wallpapers go global with professional print
Introducing bespoke Florence Broadhurst wallpapers to a global market, demanded a commercial approach to production. Canon’s Océ ColorWave 700 wide-format printer provided the perfect solution.
When David Lennie purchased Florence Broadhurst’s design archives, little did he realise he was poised on the edge of global success.
David and his wife Helen introduced the iconic 20th century designer’s works to the world, using traditional silk screens to produce bespoke textiles, wallpapers, limited edition art and more.
Pushed to lower production costs without compromising standards, they turned to Canon Professional Print’s Océ Colorwave 700 wide-format printer.
“The ColorWave 700 is the first printer with the potential to match the depth of colour and sumptuous visual effects achievable by silk screen,” said David.
“It will allow us to grow our market with new, high quality wallpaper collections and associated products, at a lower price point, and on beautiful bases like metallic.”
