TechCollect NZ is New Zealand’s first free nationwide e-waste recycling pilot scheme for all broken or end-of-life cameras, printers, scanners, and multifunction devices. Consumers can drop off their unwanted e-waste for free at a selection of Noel Leeming locations nationwide. Croxley Recycling collects and processes the e-waste from the Noel Leeming stores, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
The environmental impacts of our products are continually reduced, making them more energy-efficient and accessible to recycle. Canon practices full life-cycle recycling and ensures our devices can be fully recycled. We also have a refurbishment programme for the return of our multifunction printers. When a device has reached the end of its contract period, it can be returned to Canon, where, depending on its condition, it will either be refurbished, stripped for parts for use in refurbished devices, or recycled through Croxley Recycling.
Annually published, our sustainability reports offer a comprehensive overview of our sustainability challenges and performance. They also serve as a means of accountability to our stakeholders, fostering increased communication with them about the strategies we put in place to address environmental, economic, and social hardship.
