This compact L-series lens boasts a highly versatile zoom range great for all types of photography ventures. From street and landscapes, to portraits and video, the RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM is engineered to cover a range of subjects extending from 0.21m (wide) to 0.38m (medium telephoto), with just the turn of a zoom ring.
The large diameter mount and short back focus of the RF lens significantly increases the degree of freedom in lens design compared to conventional EF lenses, achieving overwhelming high image quality and sharpness. Equipped with a Nano USM, the RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM achieves high-speed and high-precision autofocus which minimises out-of-focus blurring when shooting fast moving subjects like animals or vehicles.
