Issue

The printer generates abnormal noise when starting up or printing. (The printer generates different sounds from the normal starting-up or printing sounds.)

Caution

Big or sudden noise is generated during, before, or after printing. However, it is not due to a printer problem or printer malfunction.

Cause and solution

There is a possibility that a foreign object such as paper or vinyl material is stuck inside the printer.

Open the top cover and make sure no foreign object such as paper or vinyl material is stuck inside the printer. If any foreign object is stuck, remove it and close the top cover. [Checking the Inside of the Printer]

There is a possibility that paper is inappropriate.

Replace the paper with that which can be used with this printer. [Usable Paper]
