Canon is globally involved in a number of unique recycling schemes that allow us to transform old products into brand new ones.

In 1990, Canon introduced the first toner recycling program of its kind in the world, with our own toner recycling plants in Europe, Japan, China and USA. Across Oceania, we support several recycling initiatives to promote recycling in the community, and make it easy for you or your business to recycle too.

Cartridge (Ink and Toner) Recycling

Domestic customers are welcome to drop their used ink and toner cartridges (1-2 at a time) at any of the following locations nationwide

  • Noel Leeming
  • Warehouse Stationary

Croxley Recycling

Business customers, If you would like to see if you are eligible or would like to partake in this free programme please call Customer Care on 0800 222 666. The Customer Care representative will ask you a few questions to ensure you meet the criteria to be issued with a Toner Recycle box.

When your toner box is almost full, you can contact the Croxley Recycling Centre via a webform or on the 0800 number on the box and they will issue you with a job number and arrange a courier to come out and collect the box and/or deliver a new empty box.

Alternatively, if you would like to drop your used cartridges off at a local Canon Branch or at participating outlets, then Canon will ensure the recycling of this product.
