Paper Comes Out Wrinkled

Issue

Paper comes out wrinkled.

Cause and solution

Paper is not loaded properly in the multi-purpose tray or manual feed tray.

Load the paper properly in the multi-purpose tray or manual feed tray. [Loading Paper in the Multi-purpose Tray] [Loading Paper in the Manual Feed Tray]

Cause and solution

Paper is damp due to being stored under unsuitable conditions.

Replace the paper with new paper in an unopened package. [Usable Paper]

Appropriate paper is not being used.

Replace the paper with that which can be used with this printer. [Usable Paper]

Cause and solution

Depending on the paper type or the operating environment, the printed paper may come out wrinkled.

Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.

1. Display the [Finishing] sheet.

2. Click [Finishing Details], then click [Advanced Settings] in the [Finishing Details] dialog box.

3. Select the [Use Output Adjustment Mode] check box.
