What is Continuous Shooting?

Continuous Shooting is a feature that allows multiple photographs to be taken within a short timeframe and in rapid succession. The speed of a camera’s Continuous Shooting mode speed is based on how many photos the unit can take within one second - such as 10 frames per second - and the maximum number of images the camera can shoot at, before the buffer memory becomes full – known as ‘burst’. It is primarily used for high-speed sport or wildlife photography, where the subject is moving at a fast pace.
