PowerShot G9 X Mark II Firmware Update version 1.1.0.0

Changes:
Firmware Version 1.1.0.0 incorporates the following enhancement:

Adds enhanced security for transferring captured images to image.canon.

After July 2023, please update to this firmware version so that you will be able to send images to image.canon.

If you do not update to this version, an error message will appear when sending images and the image will not be sent.

Firmware Version 1.1.0.0 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.0.0.0 If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.1.0.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

Users manual in the WEB is updated accordingly. Please download the manual as well as the latest firmware. You can download it from the official WEB site.

In the folder you downloaded are the firmware (file name: CCF22110.FIR /file size: 14,512,928 bytes) and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese).
