Having recently refreshed their print fleet to the newest range of Canon technology, Simpson Grierson took advantage of this opportunity to work with Canon to introduce both print and document management software to securely print, manage and scan documents at any of the devices in their network.

Having an intuitive document management system stops indiscriminate file saving to multiple locations, which can be an issue at many modern law firms.
Canon’s hardware provided a seamless integration with iManage software to enable Simpson Grierson to be able to store and sort digital files into one easy-to-use system, allowing staff to access critical information from any location. Information is saved into the correct place from the Canon device with no double handling.
The new scanning technology allows rapid conversion of printouts and other written material into digital form.
Simpson Grierson’s print room, along with mail and stationery services at their Auckland and Wellington offices are managed by Converga New Zealand, a division of Canon, whose dedicated staff ensure that daily operations within this area run seamlessly.
One of the key goals of the recent print fleet refresh was to ensure the transition to the new technology was as seamless as possible. Canon provided a dedicated Project Manager to lead the transition, ensuring that communication was clear across all internal and external stakeholders in the project.
With the recent equipment refresh we did, we were assigned a project Manager who was absolutely excellent and it made a huge difference to the success of the project.
